MVHR commissioning - about usWe are BPEC and NICEIC qualified to commission and provide Part F certificates for Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery systems as well as all domestic ventilation systems such as MEV or Extract Fans. If you are looking at having your MVHR system commissioned you will already know all about the benefits of MVHR. As the Government continues to reduce carbon emissions, Building Regulations are ensuring that new dwellings or conversions are constructed with an air-tight thermal envelope. MVHR ensures that the air is constantly recycled and filtered in a controlled way and therefore eliminates condensation, mould or pollutants developing in the home.
We ensure that each MVHR system that we commission is installed correctly and runs efficiently by balancing the ventilation rates so that air-flow is achieved to meet Part F requirements. The key is always to have the MVHR unit running on as low speed as possible whilst achieving the required flow-rates. Part F is the Approved Document has been approved by the Secretary of State to provide practical guidance on ways of complying with the requirements in Part F of Schedule 1 to, and regulations 39, 42 and 44 (in so far as it relates to fixed systems for mechanical ventilation) of the Building Regulations for England and Wales. Following successful balancing and commissioning of the MVHR system we provide a Part F compliance certificate for Building Control.
